Industrial Hygiene
The primary purpose of any Occupational Health and Safety program (OHS) is prevention of injury or illness. Industrial Hygienists are responsible for the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace physical, chemical and biological stressors.
CINTELLATE's Industrial Hygiene module enables Users to perform qualitative assessments of exposure and establish similar/homogeneous exposure groups, record the collection of quantitative samples, and analyze sample results.
Designed according to internationally recognized principles of "similar exposure groups", as defined in the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) endorsed text "A Strategy for Assessing and Managing Occupational Exposures, Second Edition," the software facilitates the creation of similar exposure groups using User defined criteria (e.g. project-based, process-based, or incident-based exposure groups). A sampling plan can be generated and scheduled within the system for each similar/homogeneous exposure group and reports and graphs based on the data collected from each sample enable users to easily determine compliance status and identify processes or tasks that impact the health and safety of employees.
